Pacific brings memories of an era not so
long ago, a time when things Pacific were considered cool, a time when
people of all persuasions wore Hawaiian aloha shirts to a neighbourhood
luau in deep suburbia, when tourists travelled by cruise ship or even
by flying boat and brought their memories back home with them in the
form of something from the Islands , or for Pacific people themselves
it was whatever they wanted it to be.........a time when Pacific music
was played in halls by dancebands in big cities featuring the Hawaiian
slide guitar and everyone danced the night away.........
